Yes - Help folder is missing - how do I put it back?
Also I put the Samples folder back into the .config CamBam plus 1.0 directory so that directory is opened when the Help menu item View Samples is invoked but I cannot then open any of them from that directory without going back through File/Open and manually navigating to the directory.

I don't know ; I have had a look on previous versions on the following page (0.98 and 1.0) ; the help folder is present in the package, but is empty. (maybe the Windows help can works on Linux ? )

Thanks.
I can populate the Help directory ok but the link in the code is Windows specific
file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/CamBam%20plus%200.9.8/help/Contents.htm
for Linux it should be something like
~/CamBam1.0/Help/Contents.htm

Alternatively if we know where the link points under Linux we could place the help files there.

I can access the Contents.htm directly but this is not useful for other users of CamBam on our computer

The offline help files are now included in the latest V1 rc-2 release

Also added to rc-2, if it can't find the help/contents.html file it will now go to the online help files.

Thanks.
I will teach my students how to access the files directly as we have no internet access from our CamBam machine.
Similarly I will place the Samples folder where they can be accessed using the Open Files dialogue this seems to be the only reliable way to open them under Linux.

Thanks.
Installed RC2 and, as you say, it works.
I will ask the question about file associations in another thread.
