Hi,
I need to install CB for both the Admin (superuser) and a standard user (with no password) on a new installation of Linux Mint 19.

Looking on the Linux fora it seems the right place to install the Ver. 1.0 files is probably a CamBam directory under /usr/local/bin
        Is this correct?
If so where should the config files be placed?
Do I have to specify any particular path to run it using the shell.sh script?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I personally have CamBam under my home dir.  If you did want to make it accessible for multiple users put it in some central location e.g. /opt/CamBam1.0a16.

Then for each user add this location to the PATH or if you want, create a symbolic link from say /usr/local/bin/cambam to the script to start CamBam in the install location.

Thanks,
I am still learning how to install software that doesn't have packages.
I will try the usr/local/bin/ option and see how I get on.
