Yes, I'm working on it, for now I've a compiled version for Linux (only).

I have to implement a working windows machine (It's a tedious work) and for now I'm not be able to compile it on windows (win 7 Pro).

Thanks for your effort!
If you don't mind you can share the Linux version, so we can give you some feedback.

Should it work with CamBam 1.0? 0.9.8 is so old...

When I launch the plugin under both 0.9.8P or 1.0 CamBam crashes with this message:

Hello Carlo, that's a fantastically good job!

I have had a short look at the plugin in V1 R16 (in Win7 64bit in Parallels Desktop on the Mac) .
The plugin works for me. I can also create dividers.
But the plugin is a bit too complicated to make short test. I will take a closer look at it in the next days.
Unfortunately I can't translate it.

I understood the working version w/ dividers was available only for Linux! I forgot some post, then.
I'm searching the correct one...

I played something with the plugin last night.
I was able to provoke an error, but it was probably due to wrong settings for the separators.
I don't know all the meanings of these settings and the connections between them. This makes things very complicated and requires a lot of practice.
I also don't find meaningful translations for many values.

@Pixelmaker

The text are not translated. it's a design choice, as the plugin was developed on Linux and mainly for my use.

This version is an experimental version, as said it is the version I use.

What options are not clear?

Some text are somewhat obscure, i.e "horizonthal divider" is meant to make a floor on the box raised from the base, as a step to make a drawer (in my case is for making a 3d printer enclosures with the electronic under the structure, to be cooled separately).

@Mark81

It is not unusual that the Linux Version is running on Windows, as the Linux version use the "documented" feature of the NET as a standard publiched by Microsoft.

Last version of Mono (it was acquired some time ago by M$) uses a compiler made by MicroSoft, as a side note there are many rumors on a more strict integration between Microsoft Windows 10 and Linux due to the high cost of developing a OS and the difficult to pass to a "pay per use plan" as the M$ application are doing.

Next semi official step was a M$ version of the Linux Kernel and maybe a M$ Linux distribution taylored to run on the Linux infrastructure incorporated in recent version of Windows 10.

Not that Windows 10 wil became Open Source, but now Open Source is not evil anymore for the M$ guys, it one of the many way to achieve a goal, at least till the next "political change" in M$ administration.

+1

@onekk: and if you find some free time, a pdf manual would be appreciated (and so, I could do a specifics web page for this plugin that become very different than the original BoxAuto plugin)

@David, maybe this summer, I will put a little pdf manual, at least for the important parts.

I've done something in the early development, mostly to point out the different measures, so maybe it will became a decent start (If i remeber where I have put the sources of the pdf file :-D ).
