In the attached image what I have done was to use F-Engrave to easily produce text in a circle.

I converted the g-code to dxf and imported into Draftsight and added the circle.

F-Engrave is a really cool easy to use product the downside is it seems to be awfully inefficient.   Those numbers are made of tons of lines.   Many seem to overlap while some don't seem to be connected.  I tired converting to polylines in Draftsight but I am about as experienced in Draftsight as I am in Cambam (which is only a few weeks of exoerience Wink  )

1.   Is there an easy way to clean that code up in CamBam?

2.  Clean up or no cleanup.  What will my actual toolpath be for the numbers?

The core of the problem is the conversion of g-code to shapes. You get a sandwich of various lines representing the tool movement while engraving.
The right approach is exactly the opposite - use a suitable program to make the project using real fonts, then export to DXF, conver everything to polylines, then make a MOP and generate g-code.

Before asking a question do some effort and walk through all menus and options in CamBam.  Maybe the answer is there. Please.

Or use this plugin; http://www.atelier-des-fougeres.fr/Cambam/Aide/Plugins/TextOnPolyline.html

Another way entirely within CamBam is to;

1. Draw the circle
2. use 'Text' to make the numbers
3. use Edit->Transform->Rotate, on each number
4. move each number into position

There are some stick fonts here; http://www.atelier-des-fougeres.fr/Cambam/Aide/Plugins/stickfonts.html
and you would use an 'Engrave' MOp

If you want better looking fonts then use any Truetype font listed in the Text dropdown and use this plugin to cut them; http://www.atelier-des-fougeres.fr/Cambam/Aide/Plugins/Vengrave.html
