Version 4 attached to first post.

1.  Added a form to enable/disable snaps, Plugins->Snappy
The form can stay open while drawing and options can be turned on/off as you draw.
2. Translations added (I hope)
3. Form options are saved in Windows Registry

As promised, source files attached.

I also added CamBam's internal snap options to the form so they are all in one place.

Eddy,
You can claim you're 'not as good' as the next guy all you want, but you sure are a prolific coder!

Thank you, sir.

Very nice, its good to choose which snaps to use (say, intersections may get in the way a
lot of times).

I've hacked Eddy's code a little to try a visual snapping indication. Just a demo. If it snaps now, mouse
pointer hides itself - quite intuitive. What do you think ?

---

Eddy has included the suggested feature in his code, so I'm removing my binary. Please grab the official dll )

Hello

I just found a small problem (very small  Grin do not thump ... Wink )

My settings are set for all snap points, as on the previous picture.

The first time the snap is used after cambam was just loaded, the extra snap points like midpoint or circle quads are not usable until I open/close the snappy option window at least one time.

Hello Eddy,

Some new tests on this version ; I found some little problems.

- The cursor do not disappears for arcs and circles center snap points.

- When the "snap to object" is disabled, the mouse cursor continue to disappears on "snap" locations.

- When the snap toolbar plugin is used, the icons on the toolbar are not updated if the "snap" is enabled/disabled with the snap form checkboxes.

web page updated

That is correct, I can't see why that happens  Huh

Okay, I will fix this.

Yes I know, it was too hard to fix  Roll Eyes I ended up with circular interrupts  but I'll look again.

I can't do anything with this, it appears those points are something special inside CamBam.
Edit: I know there's always a solution but time means it will have to stay like that for now  Cheesy

Hello

Sometimes the arc center is not usable, mostly after I do a zoom/unzoom. To reactivate the snap to arc center for one arc, I must move the mouse cursor over the arc line first, then I can use the arc center snap point.

I like the new features that snap to any point of the arc/circle circumference when we are in polyline edit mode. (but in this case the middle of the arc can't be found of course)

David,

That is correct, I mentioned that in an earlier post. The mouse cursor has to move over an entity before it adds the snap points to it, this is to keep the speed up and processing down.

Ah OK, sorry, I do not remember.

Nice job  Grin

PS: I just adds a small video on the Web page for the "snap to circumference" in polyline edit mode.
