Bill,

A region is used where there are 'islands' inside a pocket area.
From the manual;
"A region consists of a closed outer shape and a number of internal holes."

The bitmap was told to have a depth of -3 when it was imported using Draw->Surface->From Bitmap however it only managed -2.96470594406128 so there was a slight mismatch between the bitmap base and the Pocket MOP (set to -3)

So I used this plugin; http://www.atelier-des-fougeres.fr/Cambam/Aide/Plugins/NumMove.html
to move it down to precisely -3 mm. Now there should be no difference between bitmap and the Pocket depth.

The toolpath colours have different meanings and these can be found/changed in Tools->Options.

Ahhhh...ok. That explains it. Thank you for the explanation. So far, I'm really liking the program!

Also downloaded CamBam 0.9.8 documentation. Got a lot of reading to do!
