Hi There,
just installed CamBam1.0-mono-alpha12b-64bit from .tgz archive.
When opening an .stl file from FreeCAD, CB locks up heavily. No process to kill, have to restart linux to get rid of the window.
Is this a known problem? Am I missing something?  Roll Eyes
Thanks in advance

Hello

If it is not too big, can you attach your stl file (zip it) so we can do a test.

On Linux Ubuntu 14.04 32 bits I get a freeze the first time I try to open it, I restart the session, I retry 5 other time and no problem it open each time Huh

after the freeze, I do not restart the PC, I just close the session then reopen it.

On Gnome Ubuntu 16.04, 64bit, closing of the session is not possible. To kill without restarting I have to do a
ps aux | grep mono, then kill <pn>. So far, no chance it work on my laptop.  Undecided

Just verifying for my own sake that I could open the .stl file...

At least on my 64bit Debian laptop with CB 1.0 I can open the problematic .stl file without any issues.

P.S. maybe the xkill command could have gotten rid of that CB window for you.
