Hi !

Sharing a fun little project - drag knife holder. It uses a common utility blade, which could
be flipped for different offsets, 1.65mm and 4mm. Small offset is for fine contours
and thin materials, big offset is for the thick stuff.

Note: do not expect a perfomance of cutting plotter (or cardboard cutter with a motorized knife) :-)

The bearings are 19x6x6 mm (626). Shaft is made from old endmill with oversized shank, made a nice
pressfit.

Bearing mount design is pretty lame but simple.
One should fill the gap between the body and the bearing clamp with spacers/shims.
Proper fill will form the solid assembly, make a tight fit for a bearing, yet not deform/overtight it.

Otherwise there would be too much friction for a proper knife tracking.

Machined from 8mm alu plate on a hobby-grade desktop router. Used two endmills (6mm and 3mm) and a very
shallow passes (0.6 mm) + wd-40 for anti-sticking.
