At least in XP, the scripts aren't kept with the program files.

They exist on my system in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CamBam plus 0.9.8\scripts

Scripts aren't part of the CB program.  They are, truly, 'applications'.

Just search your drive for any folders containing the name CamBam, and you shall quickly find them.

Or use the menu Help/Browse system folder in CamBam to find it (note, Application Data is a "hidden" folder)

It's not hidden on my system, David.  But I'm running an OLD version of XP, for its reliability and compatibility with many softwares I count on every day.

It is hidden by default when installing windows.

On Win 7 the path is " C:\ProgramData\CamBam plus 0.9.8\scripts " (Hidden folder too)

cambam is under program file x86, but there isnt a script folder.

That's because it's a 32bit application and that's where Windows puts them.

On Windows 10 the scripts are here (for CamBam V1.0); C:\ProgramData\CamBam plus 1.0\scripts

Did you get the plugin version from here ? http://www.atelier-des-fougeres.fr/Cambam/Aide/Plugins/DragKnife.html
Please make sure you download the correct version for your CamBam.

HI Andy
You should have the .dll in the plugin dir, and then it show up in the plugin's menu.
you need to restart CB.

this is so so confusing, so...

in program files (x86) is a cambam folder with a plugin folder. its got the height map plugin in it

in programdata is another cambam folder. when in CB and you click open system folder this is where it takes you. there is no plugin folder

Yes, that's where all the plugin dll's go.

As Dave said, you must restart CamBam after putting the dll there.
If you go to the plugins menu and dont' see "Drag Knife", read this thread;http://www.cambam.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=6294.msg50090#msg50090
