Greetings, Thanks for the chance to use this software. I quickly produced code to profile an image of abraham lincoln. However, the g-code is diminsioned to 6 decimal places.
Our Mazak can only read to 4 (0.0001 ) decimal places. how can I change this setting?
Thanks again.

Hello Bill,

Under the properties for machining there is one called NumberFormat default is 0.######

You *should* just need to change this to 0.####

I hope this helps!

I found the setting for this this morning. I logged on here to let you know. And found that you had already ansered my question. I did a picture of Abe Lincoln. I read through the G-code and I saw notheng that looked goofy.
I will run it in a piece that is 3x5 (inches) tonight.
I will let you know how it comes out.
Thanks again for the opertunity to try out this software.
I am goin to run the crap out of it.

Oh man!  I just googled Mazak...this is not fair.
Mr Bean, my mutant side kick has a PC that runs about 4 times faster than me.  My kids PC runs rings round mine.  And all you guys wield out these enourmous chunks of metal while I cower in the corner of my garage hoping nothing will sproing off mine, in my general direction at full welly.  (an exploding 6mm carbide end mill can put the wind up you, take it from me!)
Oh no! I thought I'd got past my 'tool envy' days.
But don't forget!  It's what you do with it that counts! Smiley

There isn't much in life that gives you that total body rush as that. ( except for maybe a 19mm end mill)
