I had just finished my program in CamBam and used simulate with cutviewer, when I noticed that it was not behaving, the g code would load ok but it would cut a different profile altogether. I tried to change the stock from rectangle to round but it wouldn't change, so I did an uninstalled then reinstalled it and now no stock will show up at all and it won't run a simulation at all.
I am running windows 7 64bit and cutviewer is installed along with CamBam in C: Program Files (x86) so I tried installing cutviewer in C: Program Files and bingo it works like a charm except now the link to “simulate with cutviewer” has been lost. Does CB need to be also installed into the same C: Program Files for the link to work?
I am at a loss as to why it stopped working in C: Program Files (x86)

Paul

I don't think it the CB file, Cutviewer won't run any of the demo files that come preloaded with it. will test some other files at work tomorrow.

I also use it on my laptop win 7 64bit also without a problem, I'm thinking it just my @#$%*! work pc, I will try to find all the files and delete then and do a reinstall.

I did a reinstall and tried putting it in a different folder C: Program Files (x86)\CutViewer  instead of the default "\CutViewer Mill" and it worked except for the CB link, then I changed the folder name back to \CutViewer Mill and it was back to its old tricks.
Their must be a corrupt file still in their somewhere so I will have to try and find where they all go and delete then manually.

Problem fixed  Smiley
It took our IT people the best part of a day to clean and remove around 500 infected files from my pc.
I was one of about 25 that the virus hit. So watch out for visitors with dodgy USB sticks.

cheers
