Hi all,

I was looking at modifying some polygons by rotating and flipping some arcs and lines,  for instance to produce a multi-curved vertical open line, copy and mirror it and make maybe a goblet stem profile or possibly a plaque design, with a right and left profile that match.

I have been using  rotation for some drawing in CamBam  but I don't recall seeing the other 2 functions I've mentioned.  Am I missing something or are these functions not available?

I searched  the forum without any luck.

Thank You all for being so patient with my questions.

Thank You in advance for any suggestions you may share,

I believe I have used the transform dialog, then chose the Y axis and did 180 (apply+ok) to achieve this.
I just tried it in .98 and it seemed to do what I expected.

The method I mostly use is the Transform - Rotate option.

By default this will rotate about the Z axis, but if you press the X or Y key it will change the rotation axis.

Move the mouse around the rotation point and it should 'snap' to 180 degrees.

One benefit of this method is you get to pick the rotation point and hence the mirror line.

Another benefit, in 0.9.8 a lot of the Transform menu options now automatically apply the transformation matrix
, keeping it at identity, which can save some confusions.
