1  Support / Installation Help / Re: [Windows 10] install problem on: September 09, 2015, 16:46:18 pm
Thanks Dave for te promt answer. Have not tried your suggestion but have solved my problem by opening the program (CB) as an old version (Windows v7) in v10.
I have been running CB on a windows 7 for years and have been very happy with it. Then I decided to upgrade to Windows 10 a couple of days ago. Then the problem startet, but I am happy to say that the problem has been solved. (I hope, as all seem ok so far). In Windows 10 control panel/System and Security you can set an older program to run in W10.
Hoping that the CB soon will be updated to run properly in Windows v10.

Regards
Johannes

3  Support / Problem dxf files etc... / Re: DXF - inches/mm on: May 16, 2014, 13:29:26 pm
Hi

My TurboCad can save the drawing as a dxf AutoCAd R14 fdrawing.  The drawing (metric) made in TurboCad v19 is saved as dxf AoutuCad v14 drawing and opens in CamBam as metric OK.

When I am finich with a project in CamBam and wants to check in CutViewer I have a problem. When I try to open the CV under tool in CB I get an error message: "C:/Program Files (x86)/CamBam plus 0.9.8 file not found".

However, if I open the CV first and locate the cb file and open it, CV runs ok.

How to correct this? Have reinstalled/repeared both CB and CV with out any help.

7  Support / Lathes and Turning / Tool Start in the z direction on: May 23, 2013, 20:43:23 pm
Hi
Can CB tell my lathe to start all the cuts in the -Z direction at Z+2, MC is at Z 0?
I am using an older Myford lathe converted to CNC, running Mach3. There is some slack in the leadscrew so in stead of moving the sadle to the right after every cut manualy to take up the slack, I would like the programe (CB) to do it for me. Is this possible?

I am working in diam. mode and this is set in both CamBam and Mach3. The program is running nice on one PC, but not on my working PC. I think I will reinstall Mach3 on the working PC and hope for the best, (if there is not a solution in this forum).

Thanks

Hi
I have tested new cb fils on 2 differnt PC and have now concludet that it is the Mach3 on one of my PC who is giving me the trobble. Bothe PCs run Mac3 v, R3.043.066. The troble is that it is the PC connected to my lathe who is giving trobble. Starting the cycle and after a toolchange the tool plunge into "R" modus (I think  - G0x=d/2 Z0,- and ruind the work). How to get G0xdz0? Should I reinstall Mach3? I am lost!
Thanks

Hi.
I am turning a pice diam. 20mm. At the end of the cut the tool stops at z-40, x20, ok. After a toolshift from this pos. (aktually using the same tool doing a finiching cut) the tool go at G0 (fast) to x10 and so to z0 ruin the woork (and the tool).
I do not know what is wrong, is it a CamBam or Mach3 isue? And what to do to fix it?

Thanks
