This script creates spiral toolpaths and 2D regular n-gons with either linear or parabolic scaled Z functions. How about a parabolic mirror? Need a cam clamp? You are getting sleeeepyy..... Download here: http://vts.bc.ca/misc/SpiralPollyGone_v2.vbxIt has been renamed to .vbx to avoid filter problems so just change it back to .vbs

Thanks. I hate it when I forget to clean up the url tag when I copy it from a post I made elsewhere. It's fixed now.

Really nice work!! I was wondering that would it be difficult to implement "round" model also (that the side profile would be kind of half-circle and inverce half-circle)? I made a mould for a subwoofer reflex tube by hand and it was a pain in the ars3 by hand Anyways thank you for this one

I have been considering implementing a general elliptical function. A hemisphere is just a special case of an ellipse.
Hmm, that just gave me another idea... ------------------------------------------
Thanks for the nice comments and the feedback is appreciated, good or critical. In particular any notes about errors or departures from expected operation will be appreciated.

Evan, Thanks to you and the others who have created add-on scripts and Plugins for CamBam.. They are VERY cool Andy was really thinking ahead when he added this option to CamBam. The Plugins and Scripts we are seeing is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg! This could make CamBam the premier CAM utility around. (although we already know that) Thanks again for all you hard work. Don

Evan,
Would you consider licensing it under the GPL? I would like to make and release some modifications but your currently copyright message doesn't allow that.
thanks, Andy

Thanks Armando!
Now... to figure out exactly how to work it. It looks so cool, but can these be machined?...
